Magnificent!!!
That would appear to be a 747-800.
Wow, beautiful!
What a sky!! Simply amazing!! :)
NO ....THERE ARE NO 747-800s. The current stretched version (+18 ft) are either -8F (freighter-w/non-stretched upper deck-actually the same upper deck as the original -100 747s) or -8I (I for international - passenger version w/the extended upper deck) The -8 designation is used (vs -800) to recognize the incorporation of some of the 787 composite technology in this newer version of the venerable 747 aircraft. This includes the egg shell scalloped exhaust cowling, composite blended winglets & various other structural components.
Bob really what does it matter same type of plane in my book. Great Shot of the B747-800 by the way!!
Love the sunsets of my hometown. :D Great shot!
Amazing shot!
It's what I call a genuine RPRT image, can't repeat that even if you wanted to! Great image!

A joy to behold. If you told the Wright Brothers this bulk could fly, what would they say?

Whatever the model number the 747 will always be the QUEEN.
